1962-1963: Fashion designer/Stylist training in Foumban, Cameroon

1964-1967: Interior design and Florist training with the Catholic Sisters in Yaounde, Cameroon

1967-1968: Advanced fashion design/Stylist/Modelist training at the Antoine NISAS Institute, in Paris, France.

1967: Advanced training in industrial clothing designs and research in the creation and development of infrastructures for the industry of clothing and haute couture

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 1967-1978: Creation and Management of clothing industry units (haute couture and fashion designing) in Yaoundé
  • 1978-1995: Creation and Management of a clothing manufacturing/Production unit with her own brand label (F.K Christie Couture) in Yaoundé
  • Opening and Management of La Morena Clothing Shop – Boutique in Yaoundé
  • Launching & Management of F.K. Christie Couture Clothing Line &Shop in Yaoundé
  • Participation in various national and international conferences on the creation and development of clothing and haute couture industry infrastructures (industrial clothing, modeling, styling, etc.)
  • 1998-1999: Adviser to the Bureau of the National Federation of Small and Middle Enterprise Associations (FENAP)

  • 1997: First female stylist to create and protect her own brand label F. K. Christie Couture, at the SOCINADA
  • 1996-1998: * Participation as a Special Guest of honor at FESPAM in the Republic of Congo for the presentation of its Awards/Distinctions in the field of fashion design

* Participation in the creation of the « Centrale Africaine des professionnels de la couture, de la coiffure et de l’artisanat (Arts spécifiques – CAPCA) »

* Deposit/Placing of her “Aiguille d’Or” (“Golden Needle Award”) at the Cultural Museum of Foumban, Cameroon
